Content Media Group's founder, Jeff MacIntyre, has so many vaccines coursing through his veins, when he drops a sandwich, he has the luxury of abiding by the 30 second rule. No, he's not a vaccine junkie. He's a news dude.

Jeff traveled the world for over 15 years telling powerful stories for ABC News. From Africa to the Middle East to Central America to a post-quake Haiti, he's been there and produced that. Jeff has scored 31 Emmy nominations and won 11 for his news stories. Plus, he received five Edward R. Murrow Awards. This is one of the highest honors in broadcast journalism.

News Content: Reuniting a Family in Cuba

In the wake of President Obama's historic announcement to normalize relations with Cuba, I travel to Cuba to teach a journalism workshop for 23 Los Angeles high school students. Due to a cancelled flight, we meet Ana in Miami. She hasn't seen her family in Havana in 48 years and allows us to record a personal message, which we promise to deliver. Watch Ana's personal story unfold during our quest to find family estranged by the embargo.

Normalization is a hot topic in both countries. Hope is slowly returning to this Caribbean island and for Americans, like Ana, who are separated from their family by less than 100 miles of the Pacific.

Produced, shot and edited by Jeff MacIntyre, Content Media Group.
Aired on ABC7 Eyewitness News, Los Angeles, April 11, 2015.
